Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the US. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss is a California born and raised in a wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was a real-estate magnate who later owned the Lakers as well as various other sports organizations. The couple divorced in 1972 which made her feel that she was emotionally abandoned. When she was 19 years old, she began working for the family business as the director of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Later she founded her own Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming the Vice President for the Lakers. Buss inherited the Lakers from her father in 2013. Her five siblings inherited it through a family estate trust. Buss assumed the role of the head of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles which is an organization that is a pro-wrestling organization.
