Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best well-known for her roles on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters and the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' is enamored. Other talents she has include being a successful model and dancer. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas since childhood, and always had a blast doing shows. As a kid she has been taught in various dance forms. When she was 15 years old, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit by her appearance on Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In 2010, she made her debut on stage as a receptionist on an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. The first film she appeared in was an action drama Tattooed Love in 2015. Toubia was recognized for her performance on Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
